Link Your 3rd-Party Bank Card to Your Spot Account with Ease
Connecting your bank card to your Spot account lets you enjoy seamless payments, easy wallet top-ups, and exclusive in-app offers—without the hassle of re-entering your card details every time.
Once your card is linked, you can make secure, faster transactions directly through the Spot app. You’ll also have the option to use the card for purchases, wallet top-ups, or even set it as your default payment method.
To link your card:
Open the Spot app and log in.
Tap the Profile icon (top-right corner).
Select Linked Bank Cards.
Tap Add a New Card and follow the on-screen instructions.
Please note:
Your card must support 3D Secure to complete the setup. Make sure to approve any verification prompts during the process.
Spot will perform a temporary R1.00 authorisation for validation, which will be refunded shortly after.
Once completed, you’ll see a “Success!” message confirming your card is now linked and ready to use.
