Quick answer : yes you can! Your Spot card works like any other bank card and you can request a cash back at a till if the retailer offers the service in-store. Retailers such as Spar, Shoprite and PicknPay offer this service nationwide under the condition that you purchase goods valued at R10 or more.
If you'd like to withdraw funds from your physical card via cash back, simply ask the cashier to add the cash back amount to your payment and insert your card into the POS system and enter your PIN. If you have sufficient funds in your account the transaction will go through seamlessly.
