What is a “cash-in at till?"

We've made it even easier to top up your Spot Money app! You can now deposit cash at selected grocery store till points, a first in open banking. You can deposit cash at any Pick n Pay, Pick n Pay Clothing, Pick n Pay Liquor, or Boxer Superstore.

How to deposit:

1. Visit a Pick n Pay or Boxer Superstore till.

2. Inform the cashier that you're making a cash deposit for Spot Money.

3. Swipe or insert your Spot Money debit card and enter your Spot PIN.

4. Hand over your cash to the teller.

5. That’s it! Your money will be instantly added to your Spot Primary Wallet—no waiting required.

Deposit limits & fees:

• Maximum deposit: R5,000 per transaction

• Once-off fee: R19.95
