Spotting a friend refers to the action of sending money to someone using the Spot Money app.
It's a convenient way to transfer funds digitally. When you spot a friend, you're instantly sending them money directly into their Spot accounts for free. If they have the Spot app, they'll get paid instantly. If not, we'll SMS them a download link and a message that you want to pay them. They'll need to install the Spot app, sign up and get verified to receive the money.
