You'll need to invite your friend to use the Spot app. This happens automatically when you Spot someone cash who doesn't have Spot. We'll SMS them a unique link to the relevant app store to download the Spot app.
To Spot a friend who doesn't have the app:
- Tap the 'Send Money' button on the home screen and hit Spot a friend.
- Scroll down to phone contacts and find your friend's contact details. You can also search for them in the Find your friend field.
- Enter the amount you want to pay them and then tap Next.
- Select which account you want to pay from and tap Next.
- Tap Pay to complete.
We'll send your friend an SMS with a link to download the app. Once your friend signs up and gets FICA verified, the cash will be in their new Spot account.
