How to Verify Your Details:

Congratulations on signing up and creating your Spot account! The next step is to complete the FICA verification process for your details. We utilize GBG identity verification solutions to scan your South African green ID, Smart ID, driver’s license, or passport, and perform a facial recognition check. This information is then digitally verified with the Department of Home Affairs to confirm your identity.

Before You Begin:

Please have your South African ID, driver’s license, or passport ready. Follow these steps for a quick verification process:

1. Sign in to your Spot app.
2. Click on your profile picture icon located at the top right corner of the app screen.
3. Select "Tap here to verify your account."

Step 1: Navigate to your profile page by clicking the top right-hand corner icon. Look for the "Get Verified" Button.
