We get charged a fee when people move money into their Spot account. These fees vary depending on a bunch of things. For us, topping-up with a credit card or linked bank card costs more than EFT.
With Spot, not only do you pay zero monthly account fees, but we cover the costs when you top-up with Ozow Instant EFT, EFT or deposit your salary and we pay for one free top-up with a linked card to the max value of R1 000 per month. The 3% we charge after, is to cover your top-up transaction cost.
