A beneficiary is someone you add to your Spot app to send payments to. This could be a landlord for monthly rent, a friend you owe money to, or anyone you need to pay into their bank account.
How to Add a Beneficiary on Spot:
- Open your Spot app and log in.
- Tap Transact at the bottom of the screen.
- Select EFT Payments.
- Tap Pay a Beneficiary.
- Select Add a new Beneficiary. (No worries if they don’t use Spot—you can still add and pay them.)
- Fill in their details: Account Holder Name, Account Type, Bank, Branch Code, and Account Number.
- Done! Their information is saved for future payments, so you won’t need to add it again.
That’s it! Your beneficiary’s details are now saved in your Spot account. You won’t need to add them again—they’ll be ready for future payments whenever you need them.
